The Society for Participatory Integrated Development (SPID) is a non-profit, Indian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on fostering holistic and sustainable development for marginalized communities. Established in 2004 and registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860, SPID was founded by a group of passionate social workers and volunteers who envisioned a fair and inclusive society where everyone, regardless of caste, creed, or socioeconomic status, has the opportunity to thrive. SPID is dedicated to empowering individuals and families from underprivileged backgrounds, striving to provide them with the resources, skills, and support they need to overcome societal and economic challenges. By working closely with these communities, SPID aims to create long-lasting change that enables people to lead dignified, independent lives. The organization's programs and projects span multiple regions, covering rural and urban areas across Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. SPID’s initiatives are designed to address a wide range of issues, including education, healthcare, women's empowerment, and livelihood development. Through these efforts, SPID seeks to build a more equitable society where every individual can contribute to and benefit from sustainable growth and development.
