Empowering Society
Cycles of exploitation don’t break themselves
In Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, children of women in prostitution, survivors of trafficking, and those from disadvantaged communities face stacked odds—no safe shelter, disrupted education, poor health access, and no real chance at independence. Women are often denied their rights, excluded from decision-making, and trapped in unsafe, unstable livelihoods. Existing government schemes rarely reach them effectively, leaving communities without the networks or skills to break free. Without protection, dignity, and opportunities, the next generation inherits the same struggles. SPID exists to end this cycle—through safety, education, empowerment, and paths to self-reliance.
