SPID OPEN SHELTER (SMS CENTER)

At SPID, we believe that a nation’s most valuable resource is its people, especially its children, who hold the greatest potential for positive change. However, many children are born into vulnerable situations, facing hardships such as human trafficking, forced labor, extreme poverty, and lack of access to basic needs. SPID is dedicated to advocating for these children, offering them opportunities to break free from cycles of exploitation and lead dignified, fulfilling lives.

Our SPID Open Center (SMS Center) Program offers a safe and nurturing environment with comprehensive support services, including:

• 24-Hour Care & Shelter.
• Education support
• Baalwadi/Anganwadi support
• Day Care support
• Health and Nutritional Support
• Counseling and Emotional Support
• Skill Development Training and Job Placement
• Document and Legal Assistance

Since its founding in 2004, the SPID-SMS Program has directly and indirectly reached over 4,500 underprivileged children. Through our continuous efforts, we strive to break cycles of human trafficking and exploitation, empowering children and families to build stronger communities and brighter futures.
