SPID worked in the communities of Sultanpur Majra and Mangolpuri (Delhi) to empower women through the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These groups helped women come together to build savings, access loans, and create sustainable income opportunities. Alongside this, SPID offered practical training in areas like computer skills, beauty culture, health and nutrition, tailoring, and sanitation. The program also addressed non-formal education, ensuring a holistic approach to women’s development. These initiatives were tailored to meet the unique needs of the community, building confidence and equipping women with the tools they needed to improve their lives.
