The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting millions of lives and has devastating health and socio-economic consequences on human beings and society. As the world is facing an unprecedented COVID-19 epidemic, intensifying and threatening the survival of the human race, SPID is responding in inefficient and helpful ways. Increasing efficiency requires the efforts and coordination of many stakeholders from government and communities to NGOs and CBO partners. Whenever unpredictable disaster strikes, SPID society coordinates with these stakeholders to provide humanitarian aid/relief to vulnerable people like daily labours, migrant workers, construction workers, elderly and homeless people, rickshaw pullers, street vendors, domestic workers, transgenders, rag pickers, women in prostitution, differently abled, children and communities who are in dire need. SPID supports them through humanitarian assistance, organizing awareness programs, provide preventive measures to bring back their life on track.
